STATE OF MY CANCER

B.RAMAN

I underwent the 8th quarterly evaluation of my cancer at the hospital on August 18,2011.The conclusions are as follows:

(a).All the test results are normal. The tests undergone included blood tests for sugar, thyroid function, lipid profile, kidney function, liver function, total PSA, free PSA and percentage of free PSA to total PSA.

(b).My BP is normal.

(c) My weight has remained constant at 87-88 kilos for the last two years---though I am overweight by 8 kilos.

(d).My appetite, sleep pattern and energy level are normal.

(e)My urine output is normal.

(f).My body has been tolerating and responding to the therapy quite well.

2. The next quarterly evaluation (9th) is due on November 18,2011.My doctor said that if my test results continue to be as good three months hence as they are today, he might start reducing the therapy from November 18 onwards.

3. I will keep my fingers crossed. (18-8-11)

  5. Eating more fruits could help reduce weight. I was overweight and I was able to shed weight by eating citrus fruits and juices. You could try that if your doctor says ok. Meditation could also help. Hope you will be fine soon.

  6. Ths is very good and positive news Ramanji. We thank God and pray for your good health and long life. we need wise and astute patriots who speak frankly without fear and favour for the sake fo the good of the nation and provide insopiring to Indians especaily yputh of India through your blogs, coial media and public engagements.

Indeed India is facing lack of leadership in Government, business bureaucracy and all walks of life.In todays's tumultous time TRUE LEADERSHIP will separate India from other nations of the world in an era of dictatorships, religious extremism and false communism cloaked in velvet glove of arrogance, power craziness and money power.

We hope and pray that such SAGACIOUS AND SELFLESS LEADERSHIP emerges to SAVE OUR BELOVED MOTHERLAND. Today's state of the nation convinces that RAM BHAROSE (God's grace) country is striving due to few selfless and committed leading intellectuals like you and hard working and honest people of India who are CRUSHED under CORRUPTION Due to present Political, Industry and Bureaucratic leadership who justify this TYRANNY publicly day in and day out on nations's people and resources .

  9. I wish you good health of course but I am wondering why you feel the need to publish such intimate details.

When you recently respected the right of Sonia Gandhi to medical privacy your own frankness is quite remarkable.

But on this occasion I think you are wrong to give such details and you are setting a wrong precedent for others in public life.
