I have a question about this quote.
"...Sir,

I have a question about this quote.

"Would the ISI have wanted its strategic asset to massacre seven CIA officers and one officer of the Jordanian intelligence related to the King, who is close to Pakistan's military leadership?"

I understand that your argument is that the drone operations are working for the Pakistani army's interests, and therefore they do not have a motive for this CIA attack.

If we consider the possibility that the people who did the bombing were not happy with the drone attacks on the Pakistani taliban and wanted them to stop, wouldn't this bombing be a perfect to achieve that?

The Pakistani Taliban claim to hate the Pakistani army, but going by "there are talibans and talibans" reality, isn't it possible that there are elements in the Pakistani Taliban who are on the side of the Pakistani Army who need to be protected from drone attacks, and the groups that are attacking the Pakistani army on a regular basis nowadays are one of the other talibans?

The Pakistani army has sold out individuals in its own cadre to save the group, so why is it not possible for them to consider damage to their jordanian ally as an acceptable cost for putting the brakes on the deteriorating relationship between the army due to the drone attacks?

Of course, all of this falls apart is we assume that the Pakistani taliban is the same taliban that is attacking the Army's interests and that are being targeted by the drones.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4704148890264843595.post-65886398250467258162010-01-03T21:47:44.483-08:002010-01-03T21:47:44.483-08:00Thought provoking, as usual Sir!Thought provoking, as usual Sir!Wikihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11161119866067734752noreply@blogger.com
